Intertops has a first week video rental line for John Tucker Must Die. over/under 6.7 milion.

I like Over 6.7 for +120.

This movie is very similiar to She's The Man, which made 6.88 million its first week on Video. And John Tucker Must Die had a bigger opening weekend and bigger box office overall than She's The Man. Much more popular. So it's a lock to make more than 6.7 its first week on video because She's The Man made 6.88 on video its first week but made a lot less at the box office than Tucker Must Die.

I strongly disagree and am on the opposite side. The Break Up did 6.8 million in sales and was a blockbuster in the theater. John Tucker Must Die was a bomb and nobody is clamoring to rent it.

wrong

You're wrong. You're looking at Break-ups 3rd week on DVD.

The Break-up made 10.2 million in sales for its first week on DVD. Then 8.3 million the second week. The number you have is for its 3rd week on dvd. This is for John Tucker's must die's FIRST week on DVD, not third.

It's going OVER!!!

Below are the stats for THE BREAK-UP:

THE BREAK-UP:

you have to compare it to a similar movie and us its FIRST week on DVD result, which in this case is She's The Man, and it made 6.9 million its first week on DVD. John Tucker Must Die did better in theaters and will do better on DVD... so it's an OVER.

i just went back and looked at some other movies...that line is really sharp imo...i wouldnt lay the 150 for the under thats for sure but other bigger name movies (nacho libre and monster house) did only slightly better than the 6.7M so...

its definitely not a lock thats for sure...

kid movies always do less because parents buy the movie for their kids instead of renting it. Nacho Libre did 400k more, and when it comes to a $5 video that's a lot of rentals imo. Teen movies have the most rentals. The Omen made 7.4 million. Lucky Sleven made 8+ million and it tanked at the box office. I like the price for the over.

I think the under hit by a good margin according to mojo:
